Set beneath the evening sky on the shores of Kamakahonu Bay, Island Breeze Luau brings Hawaiian history, island flavors and lively Polynesian entertainment together in the heart of Kailua-Kona. The luau takes place on the former estate of King Kamehameha the Great, giving the celebration a remarkable setting beside the ocean.

The evening begins with the arrival of the Royal Court, followed by cultural activities such as hula lessons and mo’olelo, or storytelling. These moments invite guests to take part in the celebration before settling in for a generous Hawaiian buffet.

Dinner includes kalua-style pork, island fish, grilled teriyaki beef, barbecue chicken, fresh island produce and traditional favorites such as poi and lomi lomi salmon. A hosted bar is also included. After dinner, the stage comes alive with “He ‘Ohana Kakou,” a colorful Polynesian revue filled with music and dances from Hawaii and across Polynesia.
