About Germaine's Luau
Germaine's Luau is a laid-back Oahu luau held on a private beach along the island’s southwestern shore. Guests enjoy an all-you-can-eat Hawaiian dinner, tropical drinks, and a lively Polynesian show featuring music and dances from across the Pacific, including thrilling Samoan fire knife dancing. With its casual backyard-style atmosphere and oceanfront setting, it is a fun choice for couples, families, and groups.
Set beneath the stars on a private beach along Oahu’s southwestern shore, Germaine’s Luau offers the easygoing charm of a backyard island celebration. Ocean breezes, torchlight and a relaxed family atmosphere create a welcoming setting where guests can settle in and enjoy an evening of Hawaiian food, music and Polynesian tradition.
The sound of the conch shell announces the start of the festivities, followed by the Royal Court of Polynesia procession. Guests then gather for the imu ceremony as the kalua pua’a is uncovered from the underground oven. The aroma of roasted pork signals that dinner is near, and the all-you-care-to-eat feast includes both traditional Hawaiian dishes and familiar favorites.
After dinner, the beachside stage comes alive with songs and dances representing Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji and New Zealand. Colorful costumes, powerful rhythms and graceful movement carry the audience across Polynesia. The show also features the energetic Samoan slap dance and a thrilling fire-knife performance that brings the evening to an exciting close.

WAIKIKI & KO OLINA ROUNDTRIP TRANSPORTATION
Roundtrip transportation is available from Waikiki area hotels as well as from Disney Aulani (Ko Olina resort area). For guests choosing the Makai or Original luau package, roundtrip transportation can be added for an additional fee. For guests choosing the Plumeria luau package, roundtrip transportation is complimentary. If you book your luau tickets with roundtrip transportation, the exact pick-up time and location depends on where you are staying and will be emailed with your confirmation. You will be assigned the closest to your hotel. If you provided your mobile phone number, please turn it on around 3 pm the day of the luau and Germaine's will be advising you of the vehicle number & driver's name. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to departure.

DRIVING
Check in at 5:30 pm. On-site parking is $5 per vehicle (parking is free for Plumeria guests).
If you require roundtrip transportation from Waikiki, but did not purchase it, please call 866-482-9775 at least 24 hours before your scheduled luau to add for an additional cost.

Driving Directions from Waikiki: Take the H-1 Freeway West. Follow signs to Waianae. Leave Freeway on Exit #1 (Campbell Industrial Park), which loops over the freeway and proceed towards ocean on Kalaeloa Blvd. Follow to the end and take a right on Olai Street. Estimated drive time to Germaine's Luau from Waikiki is 1 hour.
