Set beneath the Maui sky on the fairways of the Wailea Blue Golf Course, Aloha Wailea Luau creates a warm and welcoming evening filled with island flavors, live music and sweeping coastline views. Held on Wednesday nights, this open-air celebration invites guests to slow down, enjoy the beauty of Wailea and follow the story of the great Polynesian voyagers who crossed the Pacific using the stars, ocean currents and generations of knowledge.
Before dinner, wander through the artisan market and discover locally made jewelry, clothing, sweet treats, island specialties and handcrafted goods from Maui makers. Cultural activities may include lei making, ukulele, Hawaiian games and traditional tattoo art, offering a relaxed beginning before the feast and show.
Dinner is served buffet style with a generous selection of island favorites prepared with fresh Maui ingredients whenever possible. Kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, mahi mahi, ahi poke, lomi salmon, local greens, Hawaiian sweet rolls and tropical desserts create a colorful taste of the islands. Children can enjoy their own familiar favorites, while adults may visit the full open bar for mai tais, tropical cocktails, beer and wine.
As night settles over Wailea, graceful hula, energetic Tahitian dance and fire poi bring the stories of Polynesia to life. The evening builds toward an award-winning Samoan fire-knife finale, filling the open-air setting with light, rhythm and excitement.
