Grand Wailea Luau

About Grand Wailea Luau

Grand Wailea Luau is an upscale Maui luau featuring an oceanfront setting, hand-selected lei greeting, hosted bar, and a three-course family-style Hawaiian dinner served at your private table. Guests enjoy authentic Hawaiian music, cultural storytelling, and a polished Polynesian show inspired by the legends of Pele and Kanaka. With its refined atmosphere and scenic location, it is a wonderful choice for couples, families, and groups seeking a more elevated luau experience.

2.5 hoursMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Set beside the ocean at Grand Wailea, this elegant Maui luau pairs Hawaiian hospitality with a beautifully prepared family-style dinner and an evening of music, dance and storytelling. From the moment you arrive, the setting invites you to slow down, take in the coastal scenery and enjoy a celebration created in the distinctive Grand Wailea style.

Guests begin by selecting a lei from the lei stand before receiving a welcome drink. Choose a mai tai, Blue Hawaiian or non-alcoholic island punch, then settle into a private table reserved for your party. Rather than visiting a traditional buffet, guests are served a three-course dinner family style, making the meal a relaxed and comfortable part of the evening.

As Hawaiian music carries through the oceanfront setting, the performance introduces the stories of Pele, the Goddess of Fire, and Kanaka, the Mermaid of Maui. Song and dance bring these legends to life, creating a graceful Polynesian show filled with the spirit and imagination of the islands.
