About Toa Luau - Afternoon Show
Toa Luau - Afternoon Show is a unique North Shore luau that combines Hawaiian culture, a delicious buffet, and a lively Polynesian show with included admission to Waimea Valley. Guests can explore the botanical garden, walk to Waimea Falls, and even swim before enjoying the luau festivities. With its earlier schedule and scenic setting, it is a great choice for families, couples, and groups visiting Oahu.
A sunny afternoon in Waimea Valley brings a different rhythm to the traditional luau experience. Beginning at 12:30 pm and ending at 3:30 pm, the Toa Luau Afternoon Show is especially convenient for families with young children and visitors driving from Waikiki. Although it takes place earlier in the day, guests enjoy the same buffet, cultural presentations and Polynesian show offered during the evening luau.
Admission to the beautiful Waimea Valley botanical garden is included, giving you the opportunity to explore before the celebration begins. Arrive earlier in the day to follow the paved path through tropical gardens, discover historical sites and continue toward Waimea Falls. Swimming at the waterfall may also be available, depending on weather and current conditions.
During the luau, cultural traditions, an umu demonstration and a kava ceremony offer a meaningful introduction to Polynesian life. A generous island buffet follows before music and dance carry guests across the Pacific during the colorful afternoon show.

Drink tickets are included with adult tickets only. Children and youth receive one non-alcoholic drink ticket with the Silver Package, two with the Gold Package and three with the VIP Package.
Seating is usually arranged at round tables for up to 10 guests. Tables are assigned in advance, and your table number will be provided at check-in.

Where & When
Check-in for the luau begins at 12:15 pm. Luau starts at 12:30 pm and ends at 3:30 pm.
Free parking is available for all luau guests.

If you decide to hike up to Waimea Falls before the luau starts, please give yourself at least 3 hours before luau check-in to hike and swim.
Same-day admission to the Waimea Valley botanical garden is included. Waimea Valley hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls are closed on Mondays in January, February, October and November. The Monday luau takes place even if Waimea Valley is closed. Gates will open 30 minutes prior to check-in time on Mondays for luau guests only.

There are no specific restrictions for this activity.
Special Notes
Waimea Valley admission is included. Prior to the luau festivities, guests can take a walk on a paved path through the botanical garden and walk to Waimea waterfall. The walk is 1.5 miles round trip. If you like to experience the valley without hiking, there is a golf cart shuttle offered at $10 /person roundtrip at the valley entrance.
