About Toa Luau - Evening Show
Toa Luau at Waimea Valley is a unique North Shore luau that combines Hawaiian culture, buffet dining, and a lively Polynesian show with included same-day admission to Waimea Valley. Guests can explore the botanical garden, walk to Waimea Falls, and enjoy cultural demonstrations, a kava ceremony, and an exciting fire-knife performance. Waimea Valley creates a beautiful setting for an evening filled with Hawaiian hospitality, island flavors and stories from across Polynesia. Surrounded by tropical gardens on Oahu’s North Shore, Toa Luau invites guests to enjoy cultural traditions, a generous buffet and a lively show in a place where nature is part of the experience.
Before the evening festivities begin, same-day admission to Waimea Valley gives you time to explore the botanical garden, follow the paved path through lush scenery and visit historical sites. Those who arrive early can continue to Waimea Falls, where swimming may be available depending on weather conditions.
At the luau, hands-on activities and food preparation demonstrations offer a warm introduction to the evening. A traditional kava ceremony follows before guests gather for dinner. Music and dance then carry the audience through Hawaii, Tonga, New Zealand, Tahiti and Samoa, leading to an exciting fire-knife performance beneath the North Shore sky.

Drink tickets are for adult tickets only. For children and youth, the Silver Package includes 1 non-alcoholic drink ticket, the Gold Package includes 2 non-alcoholic drink tickets and the VIP Package includes 3 non-alcoholic drink tickets.
Seating is usually at round tables that seat 10 guests. Tables are pre-assigned and you will receive your table number at check-in.

Where & When
Check-in for the luau begins at 4:50 pm. The luau starts at 5:00 pm and ends at approximately 8:00 pm.
Free parking is available for all luau guests.

If you decide to hike up to Waimea Falls before the luau starts, please give yourself at least 3 hours before luau check-in to hike and swim.
Same-day admission to the Waimea Valley botanical garden is included. Waimea Valley hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please note: Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls is closed on Mondays all year except the summer months, which is June to August. Despite this, Monday luaus take place all year round. On Mondays, gates will open 30 minutes prior to check-in time for Toa Luau guests only.
Operating hours for Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls are subject to change and are independent of the luau schedule. If you would like to visit the botanical garden and waterfall prior to the luau and would like to make sure the botanical garden and waterfall are open on the day of your visit, please give us a call to confirm.

There are no specific restrictions for this activity.
Special Notes
Waimea Valley admission is included. Prior to the luau festivities, guests can take a walk on a paved path through the botanical garden and walk to Waimea waterfall. The walk is 1.5 miles round trip. If you like to experience the valley without hiking, there is a golf cart shuttle offered at $10 /person roundtrip at the valley entrance.
